The CrowAsis got it's name about 10 years ago when my friends and I combined my last name with oasis and it has stuck ever since!
The CrowAsis is colorful, it is surprising, it is real, it is open minded, it is relaxing, and it is home.
Colorful - The home is candy to the eyes, both inside and out, from paint choices, to decor, to the gardens. Something fabulous is always in bloom!
Surprising - I am located in a safe, quiet but extremely modest Winter Park neighborhood. The minute you walk thru the door you will be transported to a whole new place, you will feel yourself relax and understand why I choose Florida as home.
Real - I am a real people with a real job and real friends. I love to enjoy life and all it has to offer and love to hear the stories of others. Nothing is more satisfying than being who you are, for real.
Open-Minded - From the living space to the core of who I am the CrowAsis is an open environment. I love Key West's motto of "One Human Family", hopefully you do too!
Relaxing - Movies on the big screen in the living room or outside on the porch of indecision. Bathing in the warm Florida sun. Swimming in the salt water pool. Relaxing in the hot tub. Having fun creating a colorful healthy meal. Reading a book in one of the many comfortable spots inside or out. Everything I have done to CrowAsis has been with that one word in mind...relax!
Home - The house is not out of the page of a interior catalog, everything in and around the CrowAsis is personal. The decor is extremely eclectic, picked up from all over on travels and places I have worked. I absolutely love Mexican folk art so in some rooms you would swear you are in Mexico, other rooms a library or a museum, and a little bit of Halloween and Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. There are personal pictures of good times all around, this is home and I love it!
I bought the house 12 years ago and since day 1 it has been an evolving work in progress. Unforgettable memories, friends, family, laughs, and love are what makes the CrowAsis so special and I can't wait to welcome more into my story!
The guestroom is exclusively for you, the guest. All rooms have a white noise machine that you can choose to use, they are awesome!
You will also have your own private bathroom (unless both room have guests, in which case the bathroom would be shared). The bathroom is 10 steps away from your bedroom down the hall.
You have access to the living areas of the house including the kitchen with a complete worldwide assortment of Tupperware products for you to enjoy.
You will love the screened in porch and the backyard! You have access to the solar heated salt water pool which will be too chilly for most from November to March. Use the pool at your own risk and absolutely no glass in the backyard, I work for Tupperware so the house is overflowing with plenty of pool friendly plastics which you are welcome to use! All homes in the neighborhood are single story and the backyard is completely enclosed with a privacy fence, so clothing can be optional in the backyard.
Guests may also access the hot tub which is hot and ready to go year round! Use the hot tub at your own risk. Please shower before entering hot tub and wear the smallest bathing suit possible to keep the water clear and fresh, or better yet feel free to go naked.
The house has a monitored security system and closed caption video.
You will be sharing the house with me.
I work for Tupperware Brands Corporation as the Retail Operations Manager.
I work full time and am fairly busy but I will certainly help answer any questions or provide recommendations. In the evenings I enjoy cooking or grilling dinners and on Sundays several of my best friends come over for dinner and pool time, you are more than welcome to join us for laughs and delicious food! You are also more than welcome to complete privacy, that is completely up to you!
Weather in Central Florida is typically wonderful, in my opinion! November to May are the "dry" season. Dry for Florida certainly doesn't mean there wont be rain here and there but it wont be daily as it is in rainy/hurricane season. We do get the occasional cold front in the months of November-March where it is possible to be near freezing temps in the overnight hours, but even at the coldest days are always in the 50s at least. It is also possible for it to be in the mid 80's for highs and low 70's for lows during this time so it pretty varied.
June 1st starts the Atlantic Hurricane Season as well as our "wet" season. You can expect daily thunderstorms that can produce heavy rain and lots of lightning the good news is they are usually brief, provide the perfect time to eat something or take a nap and then nice weather returns. The house has grounded lightning rods to reduce our risk of a strike.
Temperatures in Summer are hot and humid so bring appropriate clothes, drink plenty of water and be sure to bring comfortable shoes, almost all the attractions in Orlando require a lot of walking.
My biggest belief in life is that the world would be an amazing place if everyone treated others as they would like to be treated and that is what I ask of my guests. Please treat the house and grounds as if they were yours.
If you use the kitchen please place dishes in dishwasher and help keep the spaces tidy.
As a general rule quiet time is between 11pm and 7am.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the house, but you are more than welcome to smoke on the patio and in the backyard.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed.
Children under the age of 18 are not allowed due to the pool and hot tub, as I do not have child safety fences in place around them.

Winter Park is the cultural side of Orlando. Park Avenue in downtown Winter Park (5 miles away) is absolutely adorable with lots of boutique shopping, restaurants, wine bars, and Museums. The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art houses the most extensive collections of Tiffany in the world and is a wonderful place to visit.
While there is a bus stop fairly close to the house (just under a mile) I would like to point out that the Orlando area is not a public transportation friendly city, it is extremely cumbersome and takes an excessive amount of time to maneuver the area.
I would HIGHLY recommend renting a car or using taxis/Uber/Lyft during your stay in Central Florida. We live on a cul-de-sac and there is plenty of free parking on the street directly in front of the house.
