We have a 100-year-old bungalow close to downtown in the gayest residential neighborhood in the state: The Marmalade on West Capitol Hill. We are a mile from city center, which is a quick bus ride or $4 Uber/Lyft. An Uber/Lyft to and from the airport is only about $10-12.
This is a basement room with its own en-suite bath, television with Roku and every Xfinity channel, and electric fireplace. You are also welcome to use the kitchen upstairs. We have a Keurig coffeemaker with assorted coffees, teas and hot chocolate you are welcome to. I generally have a bottle of wine open as well which you can share.
We have a private backyard with a large deck, a 10-person hot tub, outdoor shower, pond, and grill.
This is a quiet neighborhood next to a park and a half block to a bus route. There is a bar at the end of the street (formerly a gay bar, now a gay-friendly bar), and a few restaurants nearby.
I am a naturist and would love to welcome other naturists to stay, though of course, that's not a requirement. Just know I may be sunning on the deck or soaking in the tub au naturel. For you, it's a clothing optional space.
I provide all the amenities a hotel would, including shampoo, conditioner, soap, bottled water, bath- and hot tub-towels, and full-length terrycloth robes. I also have commonly forgotten items, such as razors, earplugs, aspirin, etc. in the medicine cabinet.
I publish Utah's LGBT monthly magazine and annual directory, so you will have those available, as well as the latest issue of OUT Magazine and the Salt Lake Tribune Friday through Sunday.
A friendly dog and two cats live here as well.

"Handlebar" — a dog-friendly bicycle bar is a half block away and they bring in food trucks almost daily. It's like having a different neighborhood restaurant every day. Warm Springs Park, a cafe and coffee shop, library and convenience stores are within a few blocks. A bicycle shop 2 blocks away often has bicycles for rent. Salt Lake also has a bicycle sharing program, with the closest location a mile away.
A mile to downtown with shopping, restaurants, arts, and many bars. Two miles to either of two gay bars. Also, many downtown bars have specific gay nights and all Salt Lake City bars are LGBT-friendly.
