There's a 2nd story breezeway between the unit and our home, which you see in the pictures. So the rental is totally private, no shared space other than the breezeway. We have 3 cats who like to lounge on the deck when we're out there. It's covered, has comfortable cushioned furniture, has ceiling fans, and a heater is also available.
