Looking for the best on the west? Well to give you a helping hand, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite gay hotels on the West Coast in the USA. While there’s a great mix of welcoming hosts to stay with in the USA, sometimes you just can’t beat the perks that come with a stay in a gorgeous LGBTQ-friendly hotel. Home to former gay Senator and LGBTQ rights activist, Harvey Milk, along with iconic gayborhoods including The Castro and the Mission District, San Francisco breathes LGBTQ culture. Seattle may sometimes get a bad rap for its rainy weather, but the city is a great spot to check out up north. Portland may sometimes fall in the shadows of its other larger West Coast counterparts like San Francisco or LA, but this thriving city in Oregon sure can stand on its own two feet. Flanked by the snow-capped Mount Hood, Portland is famous for its eco-friendliness, microbreweries, and coffee houses. LGBTQ+ life can be found in the Burnside Triangle, with a number of queers bars lining the colorful streets.
