A short 5 to 7-minute walk will bring you into the heart of the pleasant market town of Sevenoaks with it excellent choice of independent coffee houses, two historic pubs, The Black Boy and The Chequers, both serving Kent ales, and abundance of restaurants as well as a branch of Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and Tesco.
Sevenoaks railway station is a 5-7 minute walk with fast train services to London Bridge, London Charing Cross and at peak time, London Cannon Street. From Sevenoaks station you may also travel to the coast, to Dover for example and also to the splendour of Canterbury.
Knole House and deer park are within walking distance. Ightham Mote and Chartwell are a short drive away.
