Cabbagetown is a ten minute walk away with my favourite restaurant, the House on Parliament (The HOP) for excellent English pub food and drinks. For excellent shopping walk to the Eaton Centre and Bloor/Yorkville. Explore Kensington Market for great food shopping, vintage shops and restaurants. Chinatown with many restaurants and interesting shops is next to Kensington Market. The Queen West neighborhood and the Distillery District are great to explore for their unique shops and many restaurants. The ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) and the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) are definitely worth visiting.
